Located in this charming "castle" in the center of Historic Downtown Mesa, we are dedicated to becoming a positive force in the Valley of the Sun. We are focused on helping our community by creating a unique environment in which to bring people together.
Our historic building has a 1,400 sq ft wood floor, tables, chairs, a full kitchen, and a stage! Perfect for weddings, family reunions, parties, seminars, plays, and even concerts!
Kaleidoscope Dance Space started as an idea to make some changes in the current model of business in the dance industry.
This vision has evolved and become a reality at our dance studio – Kaleidoscope Dance.
We (Kevin and Trudy Sherman) own the building as well as the business. Trudy is the business and studio manager. She has 40 years of experience working in industry and ran her own consulting company for the last 30 of them. Dancing is an integral part of her life.
Kaleidoscope is home to group classes, performance teams, group and personal practices, workshops, private lessons, and dance-related activities and events. Styles of dance include ballroom, west coast swing, country, line dance, folk dance, dance exercise, and contemporary/lyrical dance. There are also a variety of tai chi classes and several kids classes. For those that are looking for private instruction, Kaleidoscope can either provide or recommend an experienced independent dance instructor appropriate for your skill level.
The Z Room is Arizona's #1 Rental Studio. We offer space 24/7 at two locations. We support independent artists, musicians and group class instructors. We provide a great floor, filming lights, disco lights, and bumpin' sound. The instructor/artist provides the rest!
