Phoenix’s favorite Georgia transplant, DJ Peach, fell in love with swing dance after being thrown into a class while in college. It became a way to connect movement to the music she had been introduced to and admired from an early age. Over the last seven years, she has been actively involved in the swing dance community, organizing and DJing weekly events and exchanges on both coasts, as well as hosting workshops and community events to support local DJs and encourage new talent. She loves delving into jazz collections and discovering gems to share with fellow dancers.

Emma hails from Boston, MA and now lives in Santa Fe, NM, where she is a founding member of the Santa Fe Swing Dance Society and a deeply involved member of the local dance community. She regularly teaches and DJs for local swing dance events and adores lindy hop, balboa, and soul dance styles with equal enthusiasm. Having studied music performance with a focus on jazz and ethnomusicology throughout her youth and undergrad years, Emma’s passion for dance is rooted in 3+ decades of musicophilia and geekery. She spends most of her free time falling into music and dance related rabbit holes, organizing Santa Fe dance events like Breaking Bal with her partner, and trying in vain to teach her dog the Balboa uphold basic. 

DJ Justin has been DJing since the late 90s. He specializes in 50-60 R&B, and has DJed many major events all over the United States.

Ashley Cohen Conner has been dancing for a decade, focusing on Lindy Hop, Balboa, Shag (Collegiate and Carolina!), and Solo Jazz. She started DJing at local venues in 2016 and quickly learned that she loved sharing music. She particularly enjoys Ella Fitzgerald, Joe Williams, Aretha Franklin, Dinah Washington, and Dakota Staton, along with a variety of modern swing bands.

Ashley has DJ’d all over the southwest - the list includes SWINGdepenDANCE, Phoenix Lindy Exchange, BadAZ Balboa, LA Jitterbug’s Swingin’ Soul Night, Big Sky Weekend, Salt City Stomp, SwingDanceVegas, 505 Swing, Summer Swing Fest (of course), Hot Jazz Jamboree, Boise City Swings, and Breaking Bal, and LindyFest. She was also House DJ for the short-lived but widely-loved Swingin’ Soul Night in Phoenix in 2022.

Although she will be on her toes running things the entire weekend, she still wants to take time to share what she loves most - music and good vibes with her friends. Catch her sets at a late night or two!
